Caring for the Caregivers through Intentional Collaboration.

It takes just one life-altering event to change the dynamics of a traditional household structure. Children are often placed in the care of grandparents and other extended-family members, or kinship caregivers. While resources and support are often readily available to meet the child’s needs, there is a lingering gap in services and support for the caregiver. Kindred Hearts SC was created with the needs of the caregiver in mind. By advocating for change and amplifying their voices, we are caring for the caregiver!

Our work to provide a connected community, education, advocacy and case management, is made possible by volunteers, board members, ambassadors and a team of passionate individuals. Our commitment is to serving the caregiver and changing the conventional approach to kinship care.
