Kindred Hearts South Carolina proudly presents the 4th Annual Caregiver’s Gala, an elegant evening dedicated to celebrating the strength, resilience, and unwavering commitment of kinship caregivers throughout South Carolina. This year’s theme, “Bridges,” represents the meaningful connections between kinship caregivers and the resources, services, and support they need to thrive.
Kinship caregivers; grandparents, aunts, uncles, older siblings, other relatives, and close family friends, often step forward unexpectedly to care for children in their families. They become the bridge that keeps families together, but they should never have to stand alone.
The Caregiver’s Gala is both a celebration and a call to action. The evening will bring together caregivers, community leaders, businesses, organizations, supporters, and advocates who believe in strengthening families and ensuring kinship caregivers have the support they need. Proceeds from the event help Kindred Hearts South Carolina expand programs and resources that support kinship families, including resource navigation, caregiver education and training, wellness programming, advocacy, and community outreach.

The It’s All Relative: Social & Emotional Intelligence Summit, a child abuse prevention month event, is a dynamic, prevention-focused experience designed to help parents, kinship caregivers, foster parents, educators, and community leaders understand how adult emotional health, communication patterns, and relationship behaviors directly impact the safety and well-being of children and youth.
Through a powerful keynote, engaging panel discussions, interactive breakout sessions, and meaningful roundtable conversations, participants will gain practical tools to improve communication, increase emotional regulation, and build stronger, healthier connections at home and in the community.
This summit goes beyond awareness it equips you with actionable strategies to create supportive environments where children can thrive, which can lead to the elimination of child abuse and neglect.
Attendees will leave with practical tools to strengthen their own social and emotional intelligence, reduce reactive responses, and create emotionally safe spaces where children can thrive.
